Isabel

Isabel is a Consultant at Root to Bloom. She is a designer, multidisciplinary creative, art director, space holder, and creativity wellness guide. Isabel earned a double B.A. in Design and Technocultural Studies from the University of California, Davis. She has experience in digital content, public relations, marketing, and magazine publishing across a variety of industries.

During this time, she supported various brands and leaders, receiving a Shorty Awards Bronze Honor in Multicultural Community Engagement for a YouTube series for Target, designing an Instagram informational carousel about voting rights for Michelle Obama’s When We All Vote initiative, and art directing a Women’s History Month Instagram campaign for The Council on American-Islamic Relations.

Isabel has had the honor of guiding spaces in various roles, such as Design Teacher for Inneract Project to teach design to middle school students of color, Ambassador for The Cosmos to build community through monthly events for AAPI women and nonbinary folks, and workshop facilitator on college campuses such as San Jose State University, University of San Francisco, and UC Davis.

Isabel loves discovering new poetry, communing with nature, and enjoying native fruits when traveling.
